NIGSD Launches “Innovation in the Public Sector” Training Program in Hurghada in Partnership with Hertie School, Germany, and Supported by Sawiris Foundation for Social Development

As part of its continuous efforts to build human capacities and foster innovation in public administration, the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) launched the training program titled “Innovation in the Public Sector.”
The program, held in Hurghada and supported by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, is jointly implemented by NIGSD and Hertie School, Germany, with the participation of 27 trainees representing several government institutions.
On behalf of Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD, the program was inaugurated by Mr. Nabil Fouad, General Director of Human Resources at the Institute, who emphasized the importance of promoting innovation within the public sector and developing government employees’ skills to improve public service quality.
This initiative comes in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, aiming to enhance institutional innovation, build resilient administrative capacities, and strengthen international cooperation in advancing sustainable development and governance practices.
