National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development

I benefited greatly from this program. We participated in an intensive program full of valuable information, where we learned how to establish the vision, mission, and strategic goals, and how to change the mindset of students and faculty members. We also learned how entrepreneurship and innovation can become a lifestyle for us. The work team was extremely cooperative and professional; it was a wonderful team, and God willing, we will transfer these experiences to our colleagues and students at the university.

We acknowledge the distinguished partnership with the NIGSD, and we look forward to strengthening it through future collaborations and training.

The Institute collaborated with Thunderbird University to achieve its vision and mission, which are largely aligned with Thunderbird's goals. Our ongoing collaboration is very professional, and the Institute has proven to be a governmental agency that is very responsive in contracting, financing, and other procedures, where everything was handled flexibly and quickly. The Institute is well-prepared to deal with international organizations.

I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Egyptian government, represented by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for considering women's empowerment as a fundamental pillar for development in Egypt and Africa. Women empowerment leads to the reduction of poverty, corruption, and ongoing conflicts. In this training, the speakers shared their rich experiences, skills, and knowledge. I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Hanan and the entire organizing team for this valuable and successful training.

The participation in the program was a very rich experience, as it focuses on the importance of children, especially girls, getting an education. As you know, 'educating a woman means educating a nation.' I am also grateful to the organizing committee and the Egyptian government for organizing such an outstanding program.

My learning experience was significantly enhanced by direct exposure to the practical experiences of successful incubator and accelerator founders. Through their insights, coupled with program lectures and site visits to Egyptian incubators, I gained a clear understanding of business incubator establishment and effective management. I now possess a practical framework for navigating the stages of building and operating such ventures.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Sherifa Sherif and the entire team at the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development for this impactful program. This experience marks the start of my journey to promote awareness and contribute to achieving the SDGs. I see my participation as a testament to the powerful collaboration between the private and public sectors, united in our commitment to the prosperity and sustainable future of our nation.

The training I received has empowered me to disseminate knowledge on sustainable development and climate action to youth. I aim to equip them to become peer educators, addressing challenges to these critical goals. I’m now developing a training program for sustainable development, and I’m deeply grateful to the Egyptian government and the MPEDIC for this opportunity, which has reaffirmed my belief in the vital role young people play in society.
