Governance Center
The Governance Center at the National Institute specializes in developing the capabilities of cadres in governance and sustainable development, and provides innovative consultations and solutions to support development plans and enhance transparency and integrity in various sectors.
Goals
The Governance Center is affiliated with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, an institute specialized in research, training and consulting in various topics with a special focus on governance and sustainable development. Its services cover all three sectors: government, private and non-profit. The main objective of the Governance Center is to develop the capabilities of human cadres in the fields of governance, compliance and institutional excellence in cooperation with our internal and external partners. In addition, the center aims to support the Egyptian authorities in line with their vision by providing innovative and effective solutions to facilitate the implementation of the government’s development plans, serve citizens and enhance their confidence in them, based on the elements of governance, which are transparency, integrity, efficiency, effectiveness, rule of law, responsibility and accountability.
Vision
To be the first leading think tank, training center and provider of specialized solutions and policy formulations in governance in Egypt and the Middle East.

Providing a specialized level of services in the field of governance to the public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations, developing human capabilities, and supporting them to work within the framework of governance to achieve business continuity and excellence in performance, which in turn will support sustainable development efforts.

- Improving Egypt's ranking in governance indicators at the regional and global levels.
- Enhancing institutional and system governance to achieve sustainable development goals.
- Raising awareness of the importance of governance in the public, private and non-profit sectors as well as citizens' awareness.
- Contributing to preparing government cadres to build capacities to formulate policies, develop strategies and plans in the field of achieving good governance.
- Communicating and cooperating with regional and international governance institutions
- Analyzing the performance of the government apparatus and seeking to provide solutions to develop and modernize it in a sustainable manner. Building a national governance index based on a reliable scientific methodology.
