Governance Center
The Governance Center at the NIGSD specializes in developing the capabilities of cadres in governance and sustainable development, and provides innovative consultations and solutions to support development plans and enhance transparency and integrity in various sectors.
Introduction
The Governance Center is affiliated with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), an institute specializing in research, training, and consulting across various topics, with a particular focus on governance and sustainable development. Its services cater to all three sectors: governmental, private, and non-profit.The primary objective of the Governance Center is to monitor and track Egypt's performance in various governance indicators with the aim of improving them. This is coupled with providing consulting and training services in governance fields to diverse public and private entities. Additionally, the Center aims to support Egyptian authorities in line with their vision by offering innovative and effective solutions to facilitate the implementation of government development plans, serve citizens, and enhance their trust. This is all based on key governance principles: transparency, integrity, efficiency, effectiveness, rule of law, responsibility, and accountability.
Vision
To be the first leading think tank, training center and provider of specialized solutions and policy formulations in governance in Egypt and the Middle East.
Mission
Providing a specialized level of services in the field of governance to the public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations, developing human capabilities, and supporting them to work within the framework of governance to achieve business continuity and excellence in performance, which in turn will support sustainable development efforts.

- Contributing to preparing government cadres to build capacities to formulate policies, develop strategies and plans in the field of achieving good governance.
- Communicating and cooperating with regional and international governance institutions
- Analyzing the performance of the government apparatus and seeking to provide solutions to develop and modernize it in a sustainable manner. Building a national governance index based on a reliable scientific methodology.
