Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center
The Center aims to serve as a central hub within Egypt’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, offering essential tools for excellence and fostering the integration of local innovation into global value chains, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Introduction
Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EEIC) is a center of excellence operating under the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development. It serves as the central hub for all entrepreneurship-related initiatives and activities affiliated with the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
EEIC is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation and to advancing the transition towards a knowledge-based economy. The center empowers Egyptian youth to transform their innovative ideas into startups that are integrated into global value chains. Through fostering a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem, EEIC contributes to accelerating economic growth in Egypt.

Strategic objectives
- Raising awareness on entrepreneurship, specifically sustainable entrepreneurship.
- Supporting startups at different stages of development from the initial stages to the stages of growth and expansion.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the entrepreneurial activities at the national level to develop a national index to measure entrepreneurship and innovation and contribute to improving Egypt's international ranking in this regard.
- Ensuring the quality of entrepreneurial educational content provided by various entities.
- Supporting decision-makers by submitting recommendations to support policies related to entrepreneurship and proposing amendments to the legal and legislative frameworks that regulate/govern entrepreneurship and innovation.
