Board of Trustees

Executive Director's Appointment

  • Article 5 of the decision to establish the Institute includes that the Institute shall have an Executive Director appointed for a period of two years, and shall be appointed by a decision of the Minister concerned with administrative development.
  • The Executive Director shall be responsible for the formation of the auxiliary body and the determination of its functionsThe decision to form the Board of Trustees shall be issued by the Prime Minister upon the proposal of the Minister concerned with administrative development.

Formation of the Board of Trustees

  • The Board of Trustees is formed by a decision from the Prime Minister, based on a proposal from the Minister concerned with Administrative Development.
  • The Board complies with the Public Authorities Law and serves as the "Board of Directors."
  • The Board is considered the supreme authority responsible for the Institute's affairs, managing its operations, and setting its general policy.
  • The Board has the right to make necessary decisions to achieve the Institute's objectives in accordance with the law and within its jurisdiction.
Board of Trustees Responsibilities

  • Issuing Internal Regulations: Issuing rules related to the Institute's financial, administrative, and technical affairs, without being restricted by governmental regulations.
  • Developing Organizational Bylaws: Preparing bylaws concerning appointment, promotion, transfer, dismissal, salaries, bonuses, and pensions for the Institute's employees.
    • Adhering to the provisions of the law and presidential decrees establishing the Institute.
  • Approving the Annual Budget: Reviewing and adopting the Institute's annual budget.
  • Considering Referred Matters: Dealing with matters referred to the Institute's jurisdiction by the competent Minister or the Chairman of the Board.
  • Studying Periodic Reports: Reviewing periodic reports related to the workflow and financial status of the Institute.
