NIGSD Launches First Week of Cohort Five for “Be an Ambassador” Initiative to Train Youth on Sustainable Development

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) has launched the first week of training for the fifth cohort of its flagship initiative, “Be an Ambassador,” as part of its ongoing efforts to promote sustainable development awareness among youth across Egypt.

The initiative targets students from Egyptian universities, recent graduates, and professionals from different sectors, equipping them with knowledge and skills related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their practical application in both professional and community contexts.

Building on the success of previous cohorts, this fifth round seeks to further expand the network of youth ambassadors who are prepared to contribute actively to Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the global sustainable development agenda.

By empowering young people as advocates for sustainability, the initiative enhances their capacity to generate innovative and practical solutions to environmental, social, and economic challenges, positioning them as agents of change in their communities.
