NIGSD Highlights Innovation and Public–Private Partnerships for a Green Economy at Coventry University Event

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, through its Sustainable Development Center, took part in Entrepreneurial Highlights Version 3 organized by Coventry University Business School at its New Capital campus under the theme Innovation and Entrepreneurship for a Sustainable Future. The participation reflects the institute’s commitment to supporting academic and research-driven initiatives that promote sustainability, governance, and the integration of innovative approaches into national development efforts.
During the event, Ms. Hagar Tarek, Sustainable Development Researcher at the institute, presented an overview of the state’s efforts to embed sustainability principles within development strategies and build policies that enhance economic resilience and environmental responsibility. She highlighted the central role of youth as key drivers of Egypt’s Vision 2030 through innovative ideas and entrepreneurial projects aligned with global sustainable development trends.
The session also underscored the importance of strong public–private partnerships in advancing the green economy, fostering an enabling environment for new ideas, and accelerating the adoption of clean technologies. Participants discussed opportunities for institutional cooperation to support a competitive, future-ready economic ecosystem that responds effectively to global shifts in energy, resources, and sustainable investment.
