NIGSD Launches the First Session of Its International Webinar Series on “Governance Through a Sectoral Lens” with Global Expert Participation

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development hosted the inaugural session of its International Webinar Series on “Governance Through a Sectoral Lens,” designed to present diverse global perspectives on governance and showcase innovative tools and policies that support sustainable development.
The virtual session featured Prof. (Dr.) Charru Malhotra, Professor of E-Governance and ICT at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, who delivered a presentation titled “AI for Sustainable Governance: Insights from India,” discussing key applications of artificial intelligence in enhancing public sector performance and improving service delivery.
The session was moderated by Dr. Asmaa Azzat, Director of the Governance Center at NIGSD, who emphasized the importance of international knowledge exchange and learning from successful global models to strengthen governance systems and institutional performance.
