The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), held a workshop titled “Capacity Building: Measuring the Performance and Impact of Public Governance Reform in Egypt.” The workshop aimed to strengthen national capacities in developing and assessing governance indicators to support institutional reform efforts.

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) and the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) renewed their cooperation protocol to reinforce collaboration in governance and sustainable development across Africa. The agreement was signed by Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD, and Ambassador Marie-Antoinette Rose Quatre, Chief Executive Officer of APRM.

Egypt’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation partnered with Cairo University to launch the AI & Sustainable Development Hackathon. The event aims to empower students to develop innovative solutions using AI to support Egypt’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
