NIGSD and OECD Hold a Workshop on Capacity Building and Measuring the Performance and Impact of Public Governance Reform in Egypt

As part of the ongoing cooperation between the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a workshop was held under the title “Capacity Building: Measuring the Performance and Impact of Public Governance Reform in Egypt.”The workshop gathered experts and specialists in public governance and administrative reform to discuss international best practices in developing and measuring governance indicators, and to explore ways to adapt these methodologies to the Egyptian context.Discussions focused on enhancing the ability of government institutions to utilize performance indicators for monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of governance reforms, thereby improving institutional efficiency and transparency.This initiative reflects NIGSD’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange to build Egypt’s institutional capacity in governance and public sector reform, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
