National Institute for Governance Launches “Integrated Diploma in Strategic Planning and Management” for Senior Officials at Ministry of Finance

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development has announced the launch of an advanced training program entitled “Integrated Diploma in Strategic Planning and Management” targeting senior officials across various sectors of the Ministry of Finance. The program is part of ongoing collaboration between the Institute and the Ministry’s Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Unit, aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing administrative efficiency.

The training is structured into three cohorts, with each cohort undergoing 12 separate training days, followed by a dedicated day for project presentations.

Dr. Rehab Farag, Director General of the Department for Human Capacity Development and Training, inaugurated the program, highlighting that it is designed to empower participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop effective strategic plans. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with applied exercises and workshops.

Key training components include:

  • Comprehensive analysis of internal and external institutional environments.
  • Drafting clear and achievable vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Enhancing forecasting and enterprise risk management skills.
  • Designing accurate and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor strategy execution.
  • Preparing flexible response plans to ensure sustainable performance.
  • Applying monitoring and evaluation tools to enhance institutional efficiency and guarantee sustainable outcomes.

This program aligns with the Institute’s vision to support Egypt’s sustainable development strategies and bolster the efficiency of the state’s administrative apparatus in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
