“Be an Ambassador” Trainees Visit SEKEM Development Foundation in Sharqia to Explore Integrated Sustainable Practices

As part of the “Be an Ambassador” initiative launched by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development to train youth on sustainable development concepts, the Institute organized a field visit for the 5th cohort to the SEKEM Development Foundation in Sharqia during the first week of training.
The visit aimed to introduce participants to SEKEM’s integrated initiatives across several sectors, including sustainable industry, organic agriculture, vocational education, healthcare, and livestock production—offering a real-world example of holistic sustainable development.
This field tour is one of a series of practical visits organized by the Institute to provide young participants with firsthand exposure to sustainable practices. It is designed to bridge theory with application, empowering youth to actively contribute to the realization of Egypt Vision 2030.
