As part of the sixth week of the fifth cohort of the “Be an Ambassador” initiative, trainees visited Sharqia Governorate to engage with civil society organizations operating in key sectors, including industry, agriculture, vocational education, health, and livestock production. The visit was held within the framework of field tours organized by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) to expose participants to practical models of sustainable development and community-based initiatives.
The sixth week’s activities included the participation of researchers, university faculty members, government and private sector employees, banking professionals, and representatives from Misr El-Kheir Foundation and the Egyptian Red Crescent. Through this visit, participants observed on-ground practices that support sustainable development goals, enhance local economic growth, and promote social responsibility in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
