The Communication and Awareness Unit at the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) continues its summer university awareness campaign through a series of events held across campuses. As part of the national workshop series by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) in Egypt, the unit organized an interactive session at the Faculty of Medicine of the Modern University for Technology and Information, attended by students from around 22 medical faculties across Egypt. The workshop focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the vital role medical students can play in achieving them to build a safer and healthier healthcare environment.

The launch of the Public Communication Guide and the Capacity-Building Workshop took place in collaboration between the Egyptian government and the OECD, with support from the European Union. Dr. Heba Zaki emphasized the importance of effective communication in promoting transparency and building trust, noting that the guide supports Egypt’s Vision 2030 and represents a step toward improved governance and more responsive public institutions.
