The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has launched an interactive online platform that allows citizens to explore the chapters and objectives of the National Economic Development Narrative and share their feedback. This initiative highlights Egypt’s commitment to inclusive policy-making and participatory governance.

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development organized an online seminar for students from Helwan, Mansoura, and Arish Universities to raise awareness about governance and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Egypt’s Vision 2030 framework. The session covered key concepts of sustainability, good governance, and Egypt’s efforts to enhance its position in global sustainability reports.

The Egypt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in partnership with Cairo University, launched the AI and Sustainable Development Hackathon with students from 20 faculties. The initiative aims to empower youth to harness AI in creating innovative solutions that support Egypt’s sustainable development goals.

The UN Economic and Social Council has renewed the appointment of Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD, as a member of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration until 2029 — a recognition of her distinguished contributions to governance and public administration.
